The Death of Thrax

I remember Dean Wellins showing me some rough character animation he did for the scene. Technically, my task was to take his rough animation and add disolving effects, goo and smoke on top.

Well, I had something a lot more twisted in mind, so I asked Dean if he would be terribly upset if I didn't use any of his animation, and redid the whole thing myself. Dean agreed wholeheartedly. I'm sure glad he did because this turned out to be one of the most twisted pieces of animation I did on the film.
