What an incredible and unique city!

I was fortunate enough to spend three fantastic days in New Orleans at the annual Shaklee Convention last week. 

I learned a lot and definitely saw and felt the scope of Shaklee’s 56 years of accomplishments.  Dr. Forrest Shaklee D.C. was a true pioneer in natural health with his revolutionary vitalized minerals and later he developed one of the first bio-degradable cleaner of our time, Basic H.   The somewhat new owner and CEO of Shaklee, Roger Barnett, was a gracious and eloquent host who inspired us all.  We also heard Nando Parrado’s  incredible story of survival and so much more.  If you don’t know his story, look for it on the web.

Most of the other highlights of the trip took place away from the convention.  We visited with old and new friends and the magnificent city of New Orleans.  If you have a chance to visit, please do.  I hope to go back soon.  It is a welcoming city in the midst of it’s renewal.
