A Cool Cat by Eric O'Neil

Last month, I met my old pal Kevin O'Neil at the "Golden Apple Comics Iron Giant signing" in Los Angeles. Kevin worked with me on several animated films including All Dogs go to Heaven, The Swan Princess and The Iron Giant. A few days after the Golden Apple event, I got an email from him and I thought I'd share part of it here:

Michel -

It was good seeing you over the weekend [...]

Hey, here's a drawing my 8 year old son Eric did. He likes your stuff, but this was just out of his head. Thought you might enjoy it. His interpretation of our cat. I think he has a future in design.

Prelude to Eden DVD - Back in Stock!!

We're happy to announce that we got a whole bunch of DVDs back in stock!

A lot of people have been enquiring about whether or not we were going to re-issue the DVD of my short films. My response has been that I had no intention of doing so.

Well, a couple of weeks ago, I received a phone call from my pal Rich Horine. Rich is part owner of The Pod, the company I hired to produce the DVD. He informed me that the replicator who pressed the DVD made an overrun of a few hundred copies and asked me if I'd be interested in buying them. Since many of you have shown an interest, I decided to purchase the stock and make it available once more.

Tim O'Shea Interviews Michel on SilverBulletComics.com

"Michel Gagné is a creator that I never get tired of interviewing (and I think the only creator I've interviewed more is Kurt Busiek). Gagné's love of storytelling takes him into several different mediums, often at the same time. I could waste your time by trying to do a summation of his career so far, but his interviews take you in such varying directions and so quickly, I think it best to leap head first into the interview." Insanely Twisted Shadow Puppet Show 2nd teaser is on-line!

I'd like to thank everyone for the astounding support I've been getting since announcing my new project "Insanely Twisted Shadow Puppet Show". I never realized how many people wanted me to do more animated shorts. Thank you all so very much. I'll try to live up to the expectations.

I'm working extremely hard and I regrettably do not have time to answer every one of your emails. I promise that I DO read them all.

To all those who have sent me Résumés and links to your websites and such, thank you. I currently have a dial-up modem and It's just too slow. I'm planning to upgrade to high speed internet in the coming weeks and I'll make sure to have a look at all your work.

Thanks and enjoy the second teaser!
