Tattoos
Here's
a really neat email I recently received:
From:
Alex Leighton
To: gagneint@aol.com
Subject: Tattoo
Date: Fri, 19 Aug 2005 17:24:22
Hey
there Michel, my names Alex
Leighton, we met very briefly at
the Comic-con, I was one of the trio
from Mukpuddy Animation from New Zealand
(I think we gave you some of our work
and a dvd?!), if you don't remember
that's cool, I just wanted to get in
touch with you and say that meeting
you was a real high light from my trip,
I've been a fan of your work for ages
and it was a real buzz!!
Anyway, the reason I'm emailing you is
that when I met you at the Con I mentioned
that my girlfriend was a tattoo artist
and a huge fan of your work. I also mentioned
that she had done a couple of tattoos
from your Freaky
Flora book. You said you were keen
to see them ....so here they are!!!
My
girlfriend, Karla wanted
me to say that the 2 pics are from
one person and it's the start of a
leg piece that will extend from his
ankle to his thigh!!! She also says "Thank
you so much for the inspiration and
I hope you like it"!!!
Thanks again Michel
Alex

Flight
Volume 3
I
just completed my 27-page story for Flight
Volume 3. The story picks
up exactly where my tale "Inner
Sanctum" from "Flight Vol.
2" left off, as I continue
the adventures of my little fox, Rex.
The
new "Flight" book is looking
really amazing! It'll be coming out
summer 2006 and will be published by Ballantine
Books. Check
out the official "Flight" website for
more info and remember to pick up Flight
Volume 2 if you haven't done
so already.
