Hehehe... This morning, I checked out the triloblog (one of my favorite) and saw that cool post! Thanks Andrew. Now, I gotta prove my devotion to these arthropods and find some time to put together the next Trilobite Show.

The Past Ten Weeks
March 22nd, 2008

For the past ten weeks, I've been extremely busy designing the look of a feature film being produced by Gary Kurtz and adapted from a story by Sabina Spencer.

The work has been fun, challenging and rewarding. In fact, I believe that the pieces I've produced for the project are a high point in my designing career. Unfortunately, I won't be able to share any of the artwork here, as the film is in the early stages and everything is still shrouded in secrecy.

While I've been having a blast on the feature film project, I've had virtually no time to work on my other projects. So, starting this week, I decided to scale down my involvement to 20 hours a week. This way, I'll be able to tend to my other babies such as Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, ZED #9, The Saga of Rex, and quite a few others.

Stay tuned for some big announcement coming soon!

Horton Hears a Who
March14th, 2008

"Horton Hears a Who" opens nationwide today.

I haven't seen the film yet, but I was involved in doing the FX animation for the 2D "Anime Kung Fu" sequence. Those familiar with my FX style should recognize my work easily.

Working on the film was intense (schedule) but very fun. Besides, doing FX over Darlie Brewster's wonderful character animation is always a pleasure.

A big thank you to Ricardo Curtis and House of Cool for thinking of me for the job.
