Animation Systems, creators of my
favorite animation software, Animo,
have a brand new website designed by my friend Jon
Hooper.
I
hooked up with CAS back in 1993 when I was making Prelude
to Eden.
Using my short film as a test, CAS designed Animo using comments
and suggestions from Jon (who
was my computer guru on the project) and myself.
The result was an incredible piece of software that
meshed completely with my sensibilities. Animo has kept evolving through
the years with lots of new tools and capabilities, and my excitment
for it has not
diminished.
Since
Prelude to Eden, I have used Animo on multiple projects including, The
Iron Giant, Osmosis
Jones, Ratatouille, Horton
Hears a Who and many more. I'm also using the software extensively
in the creation of my upcoming video game Insanely
Twisted Shadow Planet.
I love Animo!
